Skin protection isn't an afterthought; it's a critical part of being an outdoor athlete. Water reflects up to 10% of UV rays, meaning you're getting hit from above and below.
The Mineral Difference
Chemical sunscreens wash off quickly and damage coral reefs. We only use zinc-oxide mineral sunscreens. They create a physical barrier on your skin that lasts far longer in the water, and they are completely reef-safe.
Physical Barriers
The best sunscreen is shade. When you're out of the water, cover up immediately. A hooded surf poncho or a UPF-rated rash guard will save your skin and keep you cooler than baking in the direct sun.
